When I was in South Sudan, I woke up every morning before sunrise to walk outside alone to capture b roll of the countryside. On that first morning a young man from the village walked up to me and introduced himself. He saw my camera and told me that he would show me all the best spots for photos.

Elijah and I became friends as we met each morning at sunrise for another photo walk.

On the last day, Elijah asked me to help him go to college. Now I am selling prints to help pay for Elijah to complete a nursing program in Juba, South Sudan.
