Filming a 5 day hike in the wilderness

The challenge of hiking and filming and figuring out how to capture the essence of an experience was a perfect project with all of my favorite things. I love the outdoors and a good long hike, but what I didn’t expect was the transformation along the way. Hearing from the participants about how the journey changed the way they see the world and their place in it was a privilege.
