The story of women and water in South Sudan.

When Water is Basic asked me to help them tell a story about women well mechanics in South Sudan, I had no idea what I was getting into. I made all sorts of plans to conduct interviews and film “cinematic” broll, but when we finally got there after traveling across the world, I quickly realized that the sooner I ditched my plans and went with the flow, the better and the more deeply I was able to connect with the people and capture their stories.
